Plants’ growth requires specific environments in different stages, hence climate-smart agriculture is important, especially for rare, precious, and high-economic-value plants. IoT sensors in smart greenhouses can strictly monitor the environmental data to create optimal conditions for plants’ growth, no matter for fruits, vegetables, or flowers, etc. 

Description 

SenseCAP Wireless Smart Agriculture Kit – Greenhouse monitors the environmental parameters in greenhouses for Precision Agriculture using LoRaWAN technology. This kit can precisely monitor micro climates and soil conditions inside each greenhouse, thus providing data-driven insights to create a perfect environment for the plants to maximize yields with energy-efficient methods.

LoRaWAN’s wireless feature helps get rid of the fuss of setting up cables. The ultra-long distance communication makes it cost-effective, with only one gateway connecting to 200 sensor nodes in the communication range. 

With this kit, the following environmental data will be monitored once per hour by default (configurable to other intervals). 

  • CO2

  • Light ntensity

  • Air Temperature 

  • Air Humidity

  • Soil Temperature

  • Soil Moisture

  • Barometric Pressure

 

The data is collected via LoRa Sensor Nodes and sent to the cloud through the LoRa Gateway via 4G network or Ethernet.
