Description

Generally, GPU clusters can be hosted on the cloud as well as at the edge. Even though cloud clusters can provide very high processing power, sometimes they have drawbacks such as high latency, low data security and low system reliability. So, the most ideal solution is to have an edge GPU cluster to tackle these issues. However, they are very expensive and complex to get started. So, we are excited to bring you Jetson Mate Cluster Standard which can provide a powerful edge GPU cluster solution at a much affordable price, while being very easy to get started with the provided guides. Also this solution comes in a much compact form factor when compared to other GPU clusters in the market.

Jetson Mate Cluster Standard is an all-in-one solution for your GPU cluster and server applications. It includes a Jetson Mate carrier board, a case, a cooling fan, and most of all, one Jetson Nano with 0.5 TFLOPS AI performance and three Jetson Xavier™ NX SoMs with 6 TFLOPS AI performance each.

Jetson Mate is a carrier board in which you can install all the 4 SoMs provided. In addition, you can also use your own different combinations of Jetson Nano and Jetson Xavier™ NX SoMs up to a maximum of 4 SoMs. There is an onboard 5-port Gigabit switch enabling the 4 SoMs to communicate with each other. All the 3 peripheral SoMs can be powered on or off separately. With one 90w PD power adapter and 1 ethernet cable, you can easily build your own powerful Jetson Cluster.

Note

The kit does not include a power adapter. Please use a 90W PD power adapter for the best performance.
